Gender Questioning

My child, you are on a journey of discovery. All good journeys involve reflection and thought about the route we take and you are currently reflecting on and questioning the gender that you identify with. From today, 12th July 2022, when you were brave enough to initiate a discussion with the two people who have most strongly been associated with identifying you as "male", you will be known as non-binary.

This term reflects your feeling that you identify outside the gender binary of male or female. You are a gender expansive, gender questioning 10-year-old and I am very proud of you and proud to be your father.
